My name is Gene Higgins. My wife and I live in Haddonfield, NJ. God has blessed us with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. I have been preaching the Gospel for a number of years and have often had the privilege of sharing in meetings in the great State of Iowa. I was last in Marion in February 2025, and I am looking forward very much to returning in November.
What exactly is a gospel meeting?
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Every meeting follows the same format, with new messages each night.
Meetings start and finish with congregational singing of a few gospel hymns and a prayer.
The speaker will read from the Bible and share a ~35-40 minute message.
WHAT YOU WON’T ENCOUNTER
Collections, alter calls, raised hands or any other variety of audience participation.
Pressure, obligation, or attempts to persuade you to “join.”
